Concern on women's intimate health has had a marked growth in recent years. According to the American Society of Aesthetic Surgery, there has been a 73.3% increase in the last 5 years for the demand for labiaplasty, that is, surgery of the labia minora.
The development of new techniques together with minimally invasive procedures of aesthetic genital surgery has kept up with this new paradigm, and the number of surgeries and procedures is increasing.
For a global and complete rejuvenation of the female intimate area, with a focus on functional rehabilitation and rejuvenation, the functional component can be combined with the aesthetic component. The various combinations of the different procedures possible can be integrated with intimate surgery making it possible to customize and find the most suitable solution for each woman. Better results are achieved with the collaboration and integration of urogenital physiotherapy and other medical areas.
Labiaplasty results in reduction and rejuvenation of the labia minora, often after childbirth, but also due to genetic conditions or local aging.
